Long ago, when I took impressions of my prosthodontic cases, (especially the crowns) I would use an ordinary plastic or metal tray. Later, when I knew about Premier's impression tray, it made me a believer of this innovation. I never thought technology could be this good for the practice until this simple step was invented and I had the chance to use it myself.  Although alginates are a common choice for most dentists during impression taking, rubber has become my favorite because I never have problems with margins and accuracy of the impression.  To me, problematic impressions are a thing of the past.

Set aside the digital impressions because of the high price that is at stake, but think about it. With this tray, you minimize your chair time by 30 minutes or less! How? Like I said, it's simple! Triple tray allows you to take the upper and lower impression PLUS the bite registration. So it does not only reduce the chair time but it makes the experience more pleasurable for the patient. You don't have to ask the patient to open his/her mouth three times just to take a copy of his/her tooth and how it articulates. All you need is this super tray - the Triple Tray where you get all impressions plus the bite in just one load! To top that, you get the exact replica of the tooth by using rubber impression material so shrinkage or imbibement is a thing of the past for clinicians.

So what do you say, folks? Do you agree with me? Post your comments!
